Concrawood Buggy Policy
With regard to the use of buggies, the priority of Concra Wood P.L.C. is to ensure the safety of all persons, including drivers, passengers and any other players or persons in the vicinity of the vehicle. The manufacturers safety rules, generally located inside the buggy cabin, should be strictly observed at all times. Particular reference should be made to the speed and stability of the buggy when in use. This policy applies to all buggies both privately owned and hired.
General Rules of Operation:
a. All buggies should be booked through the office
b. All keys to be collected in pro shop following payment of appropriate fee
c. All buggies and keys to be returned to pro shop. Buggies should be returned litter free. In the event of pro shop being closed the key should be returned to the bar.
d. Anyone using their own buggy should report to pro shop and present a copy of their insurance prior to commencing their round where a photocopy will be taken and kept on file. All private buggy usurers must be covered by their own insurance.
e. Buggies may only be driven by persons aged 17 years or more who have a full or provisional driving licence.
f. No buggy shall be allowed to carry more than the number of passengers for which it was designed.
g. Buggies should be kept to the designated pathways or fairways
h. Buggies should not be driven into areas which have been cordoned off or where signage indicates buggies are not permitted.
i. Care must always be taken to avoid damage to the course, trees, shrubs or any other integral equipment or feature.
j. Buggies are not permitted within 5 metres of any putting surface.
k. Under no circumstances should a buggy be driven over greens, tee boxes, through bunker or other hazards or between greens and greenside bunkers.
l. Concra Wood accepts no responsibility for the theft or damage of private buggies.
Failure to observe the above rules may result in suspension of permission to hire or use a buggy either as a driver or as a passenger.
