I just wanted to say a very big thank you to the staff at Concra Wood on behalf of my playing partners on Tuesday last (Nov 10th). We had a superb and delightful day on a superb course. As before, we were simply 'blown away' by the positioning, shape and quality of the greens and the challenge of the bunkers. Can't praise the greenkeeper highly enough.

Having played Concra Woods today for the first time, there is only one word to describe the experience, Spectacular........... Greens, course condition, layout, scenery, challenge... all spectacular. I've played over 150 courses in Ireland and abroad, and Concra Wood is one of the top 5.

I played your course today in the Open Competition. The course is absolutely fabulous. I have no doubt Conra Wood will put Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan on the golfing map big time. A real test of golf, the best greens I have played on in my lifetime. A real treasure and I am sure Concra Wood will host a major professional european golf tournament in the years to come. Well done on a magnificent course. The scenary all around the course was superb and added to the enjoyment. Every hole was a challenge but the maintenance of every part of the course is a credit to the green keepers and made it totally fair. The greens were immaculate.
A challenge that will test the best of golfers. Concra Wood has to be the one of the best courses in the country.

Its fair to say that I have played most if not all the top courses in Ireland and it is without hesitation that i would recommend and urge all golfers to make their way to Concra Wood.
I played it from the Black Tees and it was both a pleasure to play and one hell of a test. From the elevated first tee with its magnificent views sweeping down and around the lake this is a must for all golfers who wish to challenge themselves.
This course designed by two Irish golfing legends, they have managed to blend the course into the land, it flows beautifully from start to finish with greens that i can only describe as "As Good As They Get", nothing feels forced or artificial which includes the welcome that you receive from Michael and all the staff.
This course is designed to be enjoyed and it is a real test but at a cost that i feel is great value for the quality course that you are playing.
